SWISS has confirmed that its new Bengaluru service will not be a winter-only route. In its summer 2027 schedule announcement, the airline says it will keep flying to Bengaluru throughout summer 2027. In a post on X, it says the route continues five times a week.

The route itself starts this week. SWISS’s X account says the first flight to Bengaluru takes off on 27 October. We covered the launch schedule and flight times in our story of 23 October.

Key points

  • Summer 2027 season: SWISS’s summer timetable runs from 28 March to 30 October 2027. Bengaluru is in it, so the route runs across both seasons.
  • Frequency: five flights a week in summer 2027, according to SWISS’s X post.
  • Why SWISS is keeping it: The release describes Bengaluru as a technology and innovation hub. It says the route serves business travellers and people visiting friends and family. The airline’s CEO points to continued strong demand across Asia.
  • Network: SWISS will serve 95 destinations from Zurich in summer 2027. That includes a new seasonal route to Toulouse in France, twice a week from 25 June to 23 August 2027. Paris, Nice, Hamburg, Budapest, Bremen, Niš and Montreal will get more flights.

What it means for agents

Because the route stays in the summer schedule, you can offer the Bengaluru–Zurich nonstop for Indian summer holidays in Switzerland and for onward trips in Europe. Summer 2027 fares and exact timings were not in the release, so check availability on swiss.com or your booking system before you quote.
