The Singapore Tourism Board says the main Merlion statue at Merlion Park will be covered for cleaning and repair works from 24 to 26 November 2026 and cannot be photographed then. The nearby Merlion cub statue stays open for photos.
STB and GetYourGuide signed a two-year MoU in Berlin to develop, distribute and market Singapore tours and experiences worldwide. It is GetYourGuide's first destination marketing partnership outside Germany.
STB signed separate three-year MOUs with Booking.com (21 Oct) and Visa (23 Oct) covering joint marketing and data sharing. Visa's Visa Destinations programme starts in Singapore in November 2026.
Singapore Tourism Board and HYBE will run BTS THE CITY ARIRANG across Singapore from 1 to 31 December 2026, building up to BTS's four sold-out National Stadium concerts on 17, 19, 20 and 22 December.
Air India and Standard Chartered announced a partnership on 21 October. Eligible affluent Indian clients of the bank in Singapore and the UAE will get Maharaja Club Gold or Silver status, with Gold carrying Star Alliance Gold. The offer is due in the coming weeks.
IndiGo revised fuel charges for bookings from 6 October; Air India and Air India Express followed from 9 October. IndiGo now adds ₹5,500 one way on Southeast Asia and Gulf routes; Air India lists USD 55 for West Asia.
From 15 October, eligible India–Singapore flights run by Air India or Singapore Airlines can be booked standalone through either carrier's website, app or agents, covering 126 weekly flights from eight Indian cities.
