Based on a Singapore Tourism Board (STB) release of 19 October 2026 and the ICA visa requirements page, checked on 25 October 2026 (IST).

Singapore will become a citywide BTS fan venue in December. STB and HYBE will run “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SINGAPORE” from 1 to 31 December 2026. STB says it is the largest island-wide fan activation Singapore has held for any recording artist. Singapore is also the only Southeast Asian city on the project’s 2026 schedule.

The month-long event leads up to BTS’s four concerts at the National Stadium on 17, 19, 20 and 22 December. STB describes all four nights as sold out.

What is planned

STB lists these activations:

  • Jewel Changi Airport: a light and music show at the Rain Vortex
  • Mandai Wildlife Reserve: a BTS takeover of Exploria, a new multimedia attraction
  • National Gallery Singapore: an art trail that pairs BTS songs with works from a current exhibition
  • National Museum of Singapore: light and sound installations
  • Universal Studios Singapore (Resorts World Sentosa): fireworks set to BTS music and other themed experiences
  • Sentosa: a rave, a drone show, a themed race and installations
  • The Kallang: interactive zones
  • Zouk Singapore: events on the opening and closing nights

From 8 to 22 December, landmarks around Marina Bay and the Singapore River will be lit in red every night. They include Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, The Helix Bridge, The Fullerton Hotel and several river bridges.

STB says more partner and activation details will be announced later. The project started in Seoul in March 2026 and has also visited Las Vegas, Busan, London and New York.

What it means for Indian travellers and agents

For BTS fans in India, including our readers in the Northeast, this gives a reason to plan a December trip even without concert tickets, since the city activations are listed separately from the concerts. Most activities are spread across Changi, Sentosa, Marina Bay and the civic district, so they fit easily into a standard Singapore itinerary.

Indian passport holders need a visa to enter Singapore. ICA lists India among the countries whose travel documents require a visa. Apply well before the travel date.
