IndiGo has pushed its Saudi Arabia cancellations back by two more weeks. In a travel advisory posted on X on 28 October, the airline said that “in view of the ongoing airspace restrictions in the region”, its flights to and from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah will remain cancelled until 14 November 2026.
Until this advisory, IndiGo’s Saudi flights were cancelled only to 31 October. This updates our earlier report on the Saudi Arabia flight suspensions. The airline says its teams are contacting affected customers and that it will share further updates.
Where other Indian airlines stand
- Air India: In a reply to a customer on 28 October, Air India said all its flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam “remain cancelled until 07 November 2026”.
- Air India Express: In replies on 28 October, the airline said Riyadh and Dammam flights are suspended until 7 November and Jeddah flights until 31 October.
- Akasa Air: We found no new update. Its last advisory, posted on 23 October, suspended Riyadh flights until 30 November and Jeddah flights until 10 November.
These dates have changed several times in the past week, so they may move again.
What agents should tell clients
Umrah groups and workers with bookings on IndiGo to any of the four Saudi cities before 14 November should expect cancellation. In replies to customers, IndiGo has pointed them to its Plan B page to cancel for a full refund at no extra cost. Agents should check each PNR on the airline’s website before clients travel to the airport, and watch the airlines’ official channels for further changes.
