Based on IndiGo’s official press releases, rechecked on 22 October 2026.
The northern winter schedule starts on 25 October. In its first three days, IndiGo is due to open three new international routes from India, according to its press releases.
Mumbai–Hanoi: daily from 25 October
| Flight | Days | Departs | Arrives |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6E 1637 Mumbai–Hanoi | Daily | 04:15 | 10:00 |
| 6E 1638 Hanoi–Mumbai | Daily | 19:05 | 23:05 |
The route will offer IndiGoStretch, the airline’s business product. IndiGo says this adds to its existing daily Delhi–Hanoi and Kolkata–Hanoi flights. Times are local.
Gaya–Bangkok: twice weekly from 26 October
IndiGo’s press index lists non-stop, twice-weekly Gaya–Bangkok flights from 26 October. The airline presents the route as a link between Bodh Gaya’s Buddhist pilgrimage circuit and Thailand. The index entry does not include flight numbers or timings.
Guwahati–Bangkok: from 27 October
This will be IndiGo’s first international route from Guwahati. IndiGo says it also opens direct international operations from Northeast India.
- Inaugural, Tuesday 27 October: 6E 1086 Bangkok 08:50 – Guwahati 10:25; 6E 1085 Guwahati 18:15 – Bangkok 22:45.
- From 31 October, Wednesdays and Saturdays: the same flight numbers and times.
Why it matters
- For travellers: Travellers in Bihar and the Northeast will no longer need to connect through Kolkata or Delhi to reach Bangkok. Mumbai gets a daily non-stop to Hanoi.
- For agents and trade: The Gaya flights suit pilgrimage groups from Thailand, and Hanoi suits business travel. IndiGo’s releases say all schedules are subject to regulatory approvals, so check that flights are operating before ticketing groups.
- Entry reminder: Thailand’s 30-day visa exemption for Indians and Vietnam’s e-visa rules are covered in our visa tracker.
